This Verizon rebrand is all about taking a step back. In this day and age of technology, we often forget to slow down and enjoy the simple things. I wanted to strip down all of the flash of a telecommunication company and bring it into an accessible and fun light. Using a dry humor and lovable character, I tried to go somewhere that most phone companies do not. The character utilizes everyday themes and pop culture references in his unique little world to grab consumers attention. The logo design is a fresh update to what they had, while still keeping a nod to he past with its colors. It’s an understated go at a market full of metallic shine that easily sets Verizon apart from it’s competitors.
